Axiom Heat Treatment takes pride in our ability to plan, budget, and schedule large complex heat treatments that meet or exceed the most stringent code stipulations.

Electrical Resistance

the most common field application due to its lower voltage and flexibility of applications.

Our electrical resistance heating system offers optimum control of temperatures by using our multi-control zone heating systems, sized from 6 – 36 points of control and rated in a range from 40 to 110 volts with multiple thermocouple monitoring points with each control zone. 

Main uses are Weld Preheat, Post Weld Heat Treatment, Hydrogen Bake Out, Post Heating, Thermal Stabilization, Solution Annealing as well as Line Thaws and small Furnace applications.

Induction 

is becoming a more frequently utilized tool for heat treatment due to its rapid heating and ease of use for certain field treatments. 

Our induction heating systems offer rapid heating from our range of 35 – 200 Kw units with multiple control and or thermocouple monitoring capabilities.

Main uses are Weld Preheat, Post Weld Heat Treatment, Hydrogen Bake Out, Post Heating, Line Thaw, Annealing, Tempering and Thermal Stabilization.

Combustion

is a robust heating system created by a mixture of low-pressure gas and high-velocity air to heat in-place large structures, refractory-lined vessels, and furnaces

Our use of an inverted flame system, as well as high-velocity burners, is the key to having an optimal delivery of temperatures within the heated structures. With a range from .5 M – 10 M btu our selection of burners can be matched to our clients’ needs.

Main uses are Post Weld Heat Treatment, Refractory Dry Out, Pressure Vessel PWHT.

Blended Heating & Cooling

Blended Heating & Cooling is a new Heat Treatment method utilizing the use of 1, 2, or all 3 heating methods simultaneously to help maximize temperature dissipation into the heated area and a cooling method once the metal design criteria have been met, reducing costs on the front end and improving your time back to production on the back end.
